After School Buddies

If you love volunteering with children, then After School Buddies is the committee for you! ASB provides a positive environment for local youth by planning special activities and events at the Kingston chapter of the Boys and Girls Club. ASB also recruits volunteers for the club, who are paired with youth in one-on-one and group settings.

ABOUT ASB: ASB is a fun Community Outreach committtee that works with children at Kingston’s Boy’s and Girl’s club once a week. We assist in running an after school program packed with fun things such as games, activities, and distribution of snacks/meals. This club is perfect for students applying to Teacher’s College or other child-related post-grad programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Volunteers are asked to volunteer (once a week or every other week) at the Boys and Girls club and to help out with fundraising events.
