Give your input RE: New Tuition Deadlines

With the implementation of the new QCARD, called SOLUS, the deadline for full tuition payment will be changed from September 30th to September 1st, with no minimum payment due on August 1st. ASUS wants to hear how this will affect YOU. If this will have negative impacts, what are they and what would help alleviate them? There are FAQs regarding this change on the Registrar’s website. Please review these questions and make an informed comment. You can read more about this and other changes such as the new grading scheme and the new QCARD (SOLUS) here.

Of note is the fact that a student is automatically deferred from this deadline if they are receiving OSAP that covers the full amount of tuition. Those that are still unable to pay the full tuition balance on September 1st will be required to complete a “Commitment to Pay” in order to defer the deadline. The process of this Commitment to Pay is still under development and the Registrar is seeking student input. Please comment on what you hope the Commitment to Pay will include and any suggestions or concerns you have regarding it.
